Notice is hereby given that a meeting of Southwick Parish Council will be held at Southwick Village Hall on Tuesday 19 July 2016 at 7.30pm and you are invited to attend.

OPEN FORUM TO HEAR FROM MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC FOLLOWED BY

THE PARISH COUNCIL MEETING.

At the Open Forum members of the public will be able to raise any matters of interest but will be limited to three minutes per person. The Chairman will use his/her discretion regarding the length of the Open Forum.

AGENDA.

1.       Welcome and Introductions.

Chairman to welcome those present. 

2.       New member.

a.       To decide whether to co-opt a new member.

b.       To co-opt a new member (depending on 2a above).

c.       New member to sign Declaration Form (depending on 2a above).

3.       Apologies.

To receive apologies for non-attendance.

4.       Declaration of Interests.

Councillors to declare an interest, if applicable.

5.        Minutes of the Ordinary Parish Council Meeting held on 21 June 2016

To agree, and sign, the minutes of the meeting as an accurate record.

6.       Community Policing Team (CPT).

a.       To receive a report from the CPT.

b.       Councillors to identify any matters of concern.

7.       Wiltshire Council Report.

Wiltshire Council, Cllr. Prickett to provide a report.

8.       Highways/Environment.

a.       To note any correspondence/response received from Selwood Housing in respect of Arnold Noad Corner/Hoggington Lane.

b.       To receive a report from councillors on any matters of concern and to decide the action required.

9.       Finance.

a.       To receive a report from the Clerk on the current financial position.

b.       To approve the process for the disbursement of the financial contribution made by theSolar Farm developer.

c.       To agree the payments to be made.

         

10.     Planning.

a.       To receive a report on the status of extant planning applications:

c.       To decide how to handle any planning applications received after 11 July 2016.

d.       To note that Planning application 16/00587/FUL (Brokerswood Country Park) is likely to be placed before the Western Area Planning Committee on 10 August and will be preceded by a site visit.

e.       To consider any other planning related matter and to decide any necessary action.

Planning Applications are available for public inspection immediately prior to the Council meeting.

11.     Neighbourhood Planning.

To decide whether to develop a Neighbourhood Plan and to agree the process for its development.

12.     Website.

To decide what is to be placed on the website.

13.     Members Reports.

Councillors to provide individual reports on any other matters they wish the Council to note.

14.     Clerk’s Report.

a.       To invite the Council to note any other matter that needs to be brought to its attention.

b.       To note the date of the next meeting:

  • 20 September 2016 - Ordinary Parish Council meeting at 7.30pm.
